WHAT: A Camden man that was arrested for the carjacking and murder that took place in Atlantic City on Sunday, September 18, is scheduled to make a first appearance in court today.
Phillip L. Byrd, 20, of 1536 Wildwood Avenue, was arrested last night in Camden. Byrd is currently facing charges of felony murder, murder, carjacking/kidnapping, robbery, theft and weapons charges.
WHEN: On Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. before Superior Court Judge Bernard E. DeLury in courtroom 5. Chief Assistant Prosecutor John Maher will represent the State.
WHERE: The Criminal Courts Complex located at 4997 Unami Boulevard in Mays Landing.
