This morning's show was full of childhood memories including a Merrie Melodies cartoon that was called "I Love To Sing-A" which featured Owl Jolson singing "I love to sing-a about the moon-a and the june-a and the spring-a". Find it on YouTube if you want to see the full 7-minute cartoon. We also discussed Tina's love for Fig Newtons and I broke out in song with the Fig Newton Theme. Remember the man who dressed as a fig and sang "Ooey gooey rich and chewy inside...golden flaky, tender cakey outside..mix the inside with the outside, is it good? Darn tootin'! Doin' the big fig newton!". Good times!
