With the recent tragedy that has affected our community, the MRCP established a special fund with the intent to help defray the funeral and medical costs of the families and to look toward the future in the memory of these children. Unfortunately, there may be individuals or groups who will try to take advantage of the kindness and generosity our community has shown. To make sure donations benefit those directly impacted, we recommend you use one of the following donation methods:

1) Send a check or money order payable to Mainland Regional Community Partnership (MRCP) and mail c/o MRCP Special Fund, POB 112, Linwood, NJ 08221.

2) Make a secure online payment with your credit card through the MRCP web site at www.mainlandregionalcp.org (This is the fastest way to contribute to this effort).

3) Drop off a check or money order payable to Mainland Regional Community Partnership (MRCP) at your local Cape Bank for deposit into the MRCP account.

The MRCP is a nonprofit organization made up of local parents, teachers, administrators and members of the business community. The exact use of any/all funds after help with funeral/medical costs will be decided by the members of the MRCP and MRHS Administrators with input from the families of the children. If you are aware of individuals or groups who would like to contribute to this effort please contact the MRCP atmainlandregionalcp@gmail.com. If you have concerns or questions about other requests for donations, please contact MRHS at 609-927-4151.

REMINDER: Tonight, August 23, 2011 there will be a meeting at the Belhaven Middle School in the cafeteria at 7 p.m. MRHS staff and counselors will be on hand to inform and assist parents in helping their children during this time of loss. Professional counselors will be available to answer questions and provide resources. Thank you again for your continued support.
