Professional boxing is back in the arena! Undefeated Adrien Broner returns to Boardwalk Hall to take on Gavin Rees and defend his WBC Lightweight title. Broner last fought at Boardwalk Hall November 17, winning an 8th round TKO against Antonio DeMarco. Note: the previously scheduled rematch between heavyweights Johnathon Banks and Seth Mitchell has been postponed due to a thumb injury sustained by Banks. Tickets are $202, $102, $51 and $26. THE WHO: QUADROPHENIA AND MORE

THE WHO, one of rock’s legendary and defining bands, have announced a major North American arena tour where they’ll perform their iconic 1973 double album QUADROPHENIA in its entirety, along with a selection of WHO classics. They will make a stop at Boardwalk Hall on February 22. Tickets are $129.50, $82.50, $59.50 and $39.50. Vintage Trouble has been announced as the opening act.
The critically acclaimed QUADROPHENIA marked the British band’s second rock opera (after Tommy), raised the bar for rock albums as an art form and hit #2 on the U.S. Billboard album chart. Founding members ROGER DALTREY and PETE TOWNSHEND will be joined by Zak Starkey (drums), Pino Palladino (bass), Simon Townshend (guitar/backing vocals), Chris Stainton (keyboards), Loren Gold (keyboards/backing vocals) and Frank Simes (musical director, keyboards/backing vocals).

NJSIAA NEW JERSEY STATE HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIPS
MARCH 8, 9 & 10 VARIOUS TIMES
The tournament is the highlight of the year for the sport of wrestling and is open to all New Jersey high schools. Competition begins Friday March 8 at 5 p.m. for preliminaries and pre-quarter finals. Quarter-finals and wrestle-backs I and II are Saturday, March 9 at 10 a.m. Following the morning session, Boardwalk Hall will clear the facility and re-open doors at 4 p.m. for the 5 p.m. evening session of the semi-finals and wrestle-backs III and IV. On Sunday, March 10, competition begins at 10 a.m. for consolations, followed by the finals and awards ceremony at 2 p.m. Doors open one hour prior to each session.
All-session tickets for groups and non-groups are on sale now at the Boardwalk Hall Box Office and through Ticketmaster and are priced at $40 per ticket.
Groups must consist of a minimum of 15 people and a maximum of 50. A $15 service charge will also be added to all group orders. 2013 ECAC HOCKEY MEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP

ECAC Hockey returns in this two day NCAA Division I Men’s Championship. The event will bring four teams from the elite ECAC Hockey conference, comprised of 12 of the most prestigious men’s ice hockey programs in the nation. Two games will be contested on Friday, March 22 and two games will be played on Saturday, March 23. ECAC Hockey consists of Division I hockey teams from the following institutions: Brown, Clarkson, Colgate, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, Quinnipiac, Rensselaer, St. Lawrence, Union and Yale. MOTHER’S DAY MUSIC FESTIVAL

Platinum Productions proudly presents its 5th Annual Mother’s Day Music Festival featuring celebrated soul and R&B artists Charlie Wilson, Jaheim, Freddie Jackson and El Debarge.
Charlie Wilson was the lead singer for the Gap Band and sang on four number one R&B hits. In 2005’s LP Charlie, Last Name Wilson hit the Top Ten thanks to the success of the title track and “Magic.” Uncle Charlie followed in 2009 and Just Charlie released in 2010. In January he released With Love Charlie and the first single entitled My Love. He has been nominated for the BET and Soul Train Awards.
Jaheim is a forerunner and torch-carrier of today’s soul-originated R& B with his smooth and sonorous tone. He has released three albums over five years, with his first being Ghetto Love in 2001. One of his biggest hits is “Just In Case”. He has been nominated for the BET and Soul Train Awards. In 2010 he released the album titled “Another Round”.
Freddie Jackson has been a well-known soul singer since the 1980s. Among his well-known hits are “Rock Me Tonight (For Old Times’ Sake)”, “Jam Tonight”, “Do Me Again”, and “You Are My Lady”.
El DeBarge, is the former lead singer of the R&B family group DeBarge until the mid-1980s. He went on to be a solo artist, his best known hits are “Who’s Johnny” and “Love Always”. He has collaborated with artist from Tone Loc, to Qunicy Jones. El Debarge is a three-time Grammy nominee. In 2010 after a lengthy hiatus he released a successful album titled Second Chances. That also featured a duet with Faith Evans titled “Lay With you”.

Parkwood Entertainment has announced that The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour starring Beyoncé kicks off in Europe on April 15. With stops in twenty European cities, including Dublin, Ireland; Berlin, Germany; Paris, France and a four-night stint at The 02 in London, UK, this is Beyoncé’s first multi-city tour in over three years. Live Nation also announced that Beyoncé’s North American Tour begins on June 28 in Los Angeles. The tour will travel to over twenty cities throughout North America this summer, including Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, Toronto and Boston. The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour promises to be the entertainer’s most ambitious undertaking to date. It is expected to be bigger in scope than any of her previous shows.
