Boardwalk Hall enjoys a life-long association with ice hockey dating back to December 28, 1929 when Ottawa faced off against the New York Rangers. The following year saw the debut of the first of Boardwalk Hall’s two home hockey teams, the Atlantic City Seagulls, who played until 1952.  An NHL pre-season game was contested in 1982, and following the $90 million renovation to Boardwalk Hall, the ECHL-affiliated Boardwalk Bullies took to the ice in October 2001 and won the Kelly Cup in 2003.  Last year Boardwalk Hall hosted the 2012 AHL All-Star Classic and the ECAC Men’s Hockey Championship, followed by Operation Hat Trick, a charity hockey game presented by Caesars Atlantic City and the Atlantic City Convention &Visitors Authority. The game, comprised of top NHL players, yielded a building sellout. Proceeds raised from the event totaled $500,000 which went to New Jersey and New York residents impacted by superstorm Sandy. More recently, Boardwalk Hall has welcomed the AHL’s Albany Devils back to the venue for a four game mini-series of regular season games.

Enjoy the games from any of the great seats in beautiful Historic Boardwalk Hall, recognized as one of the world’s top mid-sized arenas.
