BACHATA PALOOZA

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 22                   8:00 PM

BruSil Management, LLC has announced Bachata Palooza making a first time appearance in Atlantic City at Historic Boardwalk Hall. The event will feature “El Torito” Hector Acosta, Henry Santos, El Chaval De La Bachata, and Andy Andy.  Tickets are priced at $46, $67, and $77.

Héctor Acosta, first introduced to the tropical music world as vocalist for the famous Toros Band, first found his voice in church. In addition to singing, Héctor played a variety of instruments, acting as bass player for the popular Bonao band Los Gentiles. After a 1989 performance with the group, Acosta was introduced to Gerardo Diaz, manager for the renown Toros Band.  He made Acosta a life-changing offer, and by 1991 Acosta's voice was heard all over Dominican radio.  In 2006, after 15 years under the wings of his artistic mentors Gerardo and Juan Pablo Diaz, Acosta left the group to form his own orchestra.  Acosta performs all over the states in dance halls, festivals, and clubs alongside some of merengue's most popular artists.  ANDY ANDY has become a distinct artist in Latin Music mainly because of the melodic versatility in his voice, combined with the magic of his interpretations. Demonstrated by his musical background that he is one of the most successful Dominican artist in the world, he is the first Dominican artist in Latin music history to win three Billboard Awards in a single night.  Best known for his tenure as a singer and songwriter in the bachata supergroup Aventura, Henry Santos is a Dominican vocalist from New York City who made his solo album debut in 2011.  He is the cousin of bachata superstar Romeo Santos, with whom he co-founded Aventura in 1994.  Dominican singer El Chaval, often referred to as El Chaval de la Bachata, was an active recording artist for over a decade before breaking into the Latin music mainstream in 2007.

End times vary. “AC Dreamin’” invites visitors to navigate six different magical worlds: a mysterious train station, a luxurious hotel, a crazy theme park, a surreal lighthouse, a dreamy underwater world, and the fantastic Boardwalk at night. Viewers follow a magical dream shared by two friends in a modern fairy tale.
